Beavers and Cubs visit Pets at Home 06/01/11
During December 2010, five Beavers and five Cubs from the 22nd Wimbledon Scout Group, based in Motspur Park, were asked by the Scout Association to attend a photoshoot at Pets at Home in New Malden for publicity photographs to relaunch the Beaver and Cub Animal Carer Badges.
During the photoshoot, the young people were photographed holding rabbits, guinea pigs, dragon lizards and snakes – obviously some were more liked than others.
The youngsters did really well and hopefully the first launch will be in Scouting Magazine in February, and that the photos of the group’s young people will be used to promote the Animal Carer badges for years to come.
